The Boston office of Atlas Professionals is seeking a Subsea Project Manager to work on a temporary 30–45-day job in the US. The project is set to begin in July and involves offshore structure inspections. Due to the flag of the vessel, we are only able to consider US citizens or green card holders.
Job description
- Lead and manage all subsea aspects of the offshore wind structural inspection project lifecycle, from initiation to completion
- Coordinate and manage relationships with subsea contractors, including ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) operators, survey specialists, and other relevant service providers
- Ensure all subsea operations are conducted in strict compliance with relevant safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and project-specific procedures
- Coordinate closely with the onshore project team, engineering, HSE, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of subsea operations with overall project objectives
- Manage the acquisition, processing, and reporting of subsea inspection data
- Identify and resolve any technical or operational challenges that may arise during subsea operations
Job requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Civil, Ocean, or Subsea), Project Management, or a related technical discipline strongly preferred
- Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in managing subsea projects within the offshore energy sector (oil & gas, offshore wind, or similar)
- Strong understanding of subsea inspection techniques (e.g., visual inspection, NDT methods), ROV operations, and survey methodologies (e.g., bathymetry, sonar)
- Demonstrated experience in managing subsea contractors and service providers
- Relevant offshore certifications, including offshore medical
