HSE Specialist

Atlas Professionals are looking to speak to HSE specialists. We have a cracking opportunity in England, Yorkshire. This role is temp to perm for one of our largest clients in the offshore cabling industry. (This role is onshore with a flexible hybrid scheme)

Job description

• Ensure that CLV complies with the clients legislative requirements and provide close interface with Remoy HSE Manager
• Line Manager function over Marine Operations managed QHSE assist and lead with input into incident investigation and preventative measures
• Manage Marine Operations risk management process., Provide direct link to Project HSE Managers with CLV project interface i.e. location compliance, legislative requirements, specific vessel, operational requirements
• Emergency response team member / interface
• POC for marine operations HSE concerns with direct access Director Marine Operations
• Coordinate and collate Marine Operations HSE statistics and implement measure to identify incident trends with a view to preventing reoccurrence
• Work with Project HSE / PIM to identify specific contractual requirements for vessel operations, manage vessel HAZID / HAZOP processes with Project and when required with client
• Undertake vessel audit / inspections as required

Job requirements

• Degree / formal qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety
• 5 + Years experience in a similar QHSE Managerial role: able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the following activities & processes
• HSE management systems including maritime systems, codes and regulations
• Process and quality management system
• Offshore installation works
• Risk management processes and risk assessment techniques
• Incident investigation to establish root casual factors
• Statistical HSE collation
• Computer skills (office package)
• Offshore survival and medical certificate training as required
