You will be surrounded by colleagues within various offshore engineering disciplines. You will be required to support tenders, plan and execute the installation and protection of our submarine cables in cooperation with dedicated and experienced onshore project engineers.
 
The position is primary based offshore with a 4 weeks on/4 weeks off rotation and you will be part of the operational team on the vessel reporting to the Offshore Construction Manager. During periods with no offshore rotation, it is foreseen that you will be deployed in some offices in Europe and/or working from home.
 
You will be given the opportunity to expand your offshore engineering and operations skills and expertise in a wide spectrum of different works.

Job requirements

·        An engineering degree with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience and a proven track record from offshore projects and operations.
·        Competent design and drafting skills (AutoCAD).
·        Strong understanding of the challenges and associated risks involved when working with offshore construction projects.
·        Hands-on and practical mindset with a strong background in project engineering.
·        Proficiency in English is required, as are strong written and spoken communication skills.
·        Experience from Supervisor role beneficial.
·        Experience from power cable installation, trenching of flexible products, back deck engineering on construction vessels and shallow water operations/construction is beneficial.
·        Mechanical and or structural design background is beneficial.
·        Involved in serval of dynamic cable applications to floating structures experience from engineering and installation of dynamic products involving assembly of accessories like buoyancy modules and tether clamp is beneficial.
