Job description

The CTV Electrician (Vessel-Based) is a key technical crew member responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all electrical and electronic systems onboard a Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV). This role ensures the safe and reliable functioning of vessel power distribution, automation systems, and navigation aids to support offshore wind operations. The Electrician works closely with the Chief Engineer and vessel management to maintain technical readiness, support HSEQ compliance, and train the crew in electrical safety awareness and equipment handling.

Job requirements

 Diploma or certificate in Marine Electrical Engineering, Electro-Technical Officer (ETO), or related discipline.
 Valid STCW certification
 Minimum 3 years of experience onboard CTVs or offshore support vessels as a Marine Electrician or ETO.
 In-depth knowledge of marine electrical systems, power management, and automation.
 Familiarity with vessel safety systems, class requirements, and preventive maintenance software.
 Strong technical troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently under pressure.
