We are looking for an experienced SCADA SCS Engineer - Senior to join our team. The role involves leading the technical aspects of substation control systems for offshore wind farms, specifically for the HOW03 project. You will manage automation system specifications, designs, and project deliverables related to HVDC SCADA, Substation Control Systems (SCS), and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
Job description
On this role, you will be responsible for:
- Driving the technical aspects for all engineering phases of the Substation Control System (SCS) related to offshore wind farms.
- Handling technical and contractual communication with contractors.
- Managing the delivery of HVDC SCADA, SCS, and BESS systems, including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and Site Integration Testing (SIT).
- Overseeing the commissioning and handover to Operations & Maintenance (O&M) teams.
- Ensuring the correct cyber security measures are implemented in SCADA systems to meet global and local requirements.
- Collaborating with customers to develop standard technical requirements and solutions within SCADA and SCS.
Job requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Must be based in Denmark (essential)
- Experience in design, specification, configuration, and testing of SCADA and Substation Control Systems in industries like energy.
- Expertise in high-voltage SCADA networks and systems within HVDC environments.
- Experience working with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
- Strong knowledge of relay protection, Goose communication, and relevant power system automation protocols, such as IEC 60870-5-101/104 and IEC 61850.
- Fluency in English.
