Job description
The Offshore Coating Supervisor will serve as the focal point for all coating activities within the project team, in partnership with the Site Manager. Their primary responsibility will be to ensure that operational procedures and deliverables are aligned with project and installation engineering, adhering to schedules and technical requirements. They will be responsible for coordinating and controlling the implementation of surveillance, inspection, and testing plans, ensuring all certifications and documents are up to date.
During the installation, the HSE Supervisor will monitor operations, conduct daily inspections, challenge the Contractor and Subcontractors regarding QA/QC performance, and immediately report any anomalies or non-conformities. They will also support project coordination, ensuring that priorities are clear and project goals are achieved.
Additionally, they will be responsible for promoting a culture of safety, ethics, and quality, strictly following HSEQ standards and ensuring compliance with COMPANY regulations and requirements. The HSE Supervisor will seek to optimize processes, ensure the application of best practices, and focus on cost reduction without compromising the safety and quality of the project.
Job requirements
Languages:- Fluent Portuguese
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
- Level / Diploma: Engineer or Equivalent
- COMPANY's Golden Rules and HSE specifications.
- Knowledge of COMPANY's CR and GS standards.
- Brazilian offshore regulations related to maritime, environmental, and NR.
- In-depth knowledge of SIMOPS and HSE rules.
- Certification: NACE, FROSIO Level 3.
- Pipeline coating inspector with strong experience in PU and HBE solutions applied in offshore conditions.
- Experience with the startup of a new pipe-laying vessel and welding installation will be valued.
- T-HUET and CBSP certifications.
