Tell us about your job
I am a 2nd Engineer on board ENSCO DPS-1, Asia Pacific’s only full time self-propelled semi-submersible drilling rig, keeping this monster of a machine running sweet is definitely a challenge at times! The marine engineering side operates and maintains everything from the main engine power/thruster propulsion through to the drinking water systems.
What's the best thing about your job
Never boring, always a diverse range of challenges and people around.
What do you do to relax
Ironically spending time on or in the water! Boating, fishing, diving etc.
If you could live anywhere in the world for a year, where would it be and why
The Mediterranean. I have never been there, but it sounds like great food, weather and boating life.
