Hoofddorp, 2 October 2012 – On 1 October 2012 Atlas Services Group Marine Holding B.V. has agreed with SwetsODV to sell the business and all assets of Atlas Services Group (ASG) Nautische Objecten B.V.
SwetsODV has many years of experience in providing personnel for inland waterway transport, shipping guidance, nautical management, control of bridges and lockers. “This acquisition matches perfectly with the services packages we already provide. By adding these activities to our company, we can serve our clients even better and are able to further invest in training and education” explains Jan de Vries, Director of SwetsODV.
The services provided by ASG Nautical Objects fully complement the services SwetsODV offers their clients in the (semi) public sector. Clients of SwetsODV have the desire to professionalize the management and control of nautical objects and outsource these when possible. To execute this, we need to have well trained specialists who are able to work safely, fluently and efficiently. This acquisition helps to achieve this.”
Marcel Burghouwt, Managing Director of Atlas Services Group explains: “By selling ASG Nautical Objects, Atlas Services Group can focus on her main activities: providing professionals to the energy and marine industry worldwide." Every day more than 1,800 professionals and consultants work through Atlas Services Group on worldwide projects.
