On 5 April 2012, Atlas acquired the remaining 25% shares in Atlas Jaymar do Brasil.
Atlas Jaymar do Brasil’s core businesses are crew management, consultancy and operating offshore vessels in Brazilian waters on behalf of foreign clients as a Brazilian Shipping Company. Full ownership enables Atlas to benefit from the expected growth in the upcoming Brazilian market. The new opened office located in Rio de Janeiro will help to facilitate this expansion.
Business will continue as usual at Atlas Jaymar do Brasil, enhanced by Atlas' resources.
