Through the sweltering Brazilian heat the 3rd largest event in the oil and gas industry took place in Macaé in the state of Rio de Janeiro. Atlas Professionals do Brasil had a successful and productive week at Brasil Offshore, introducing prospective clients and professionals to the company.
A Great Opportunity
The oil exploration and production event was host to over 700 exhibitors and 53,000 visitors over the course of the three days. For the three days, the Atlas stand was crowded with interested parties that wanted to discover new opportunities through Atlas. Atlas Regional Business Manager in Brazil, Gustavo Ribeiro attended the stand for full four days, “The event was an excellent opportunity for us, not only to give exposure to our brand but also for us to gain a better understanding about the market tendencies in Brazil.”
Although the oil and gas exploration industry in Brazil took a big hit from the downturn at the end of last year, the general opinion at the event was viewed in a positive light, as clients and heads of industry could discuss new and global upcoming projects around the world.
“We arranged some good meetings,” explains Gustavo, “We will follow up with all of the contacts that we received over the event and arrange meetings with potential clients and get our name out there.”
