Start Date: May 2025End Date: March 2026
We are currently looking for an experienced 132kV SAP (or 66kV AP) to support a major offshore wind service campaign. Candidates with valid 8VM1 training and offshore commissioning experience are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:

Enforce and manage electrical safety rules on site

Support high-voltage commissioning of turbines, substations, and HV/MV/LV infrastructure

Take full electrical operational responsibility for assigned offshore substations

Coordinate outages and commissioning activities in collaboration with other teams

Prepare switching schedules and review method statements
-
Mentor junior team members and participate in FAT/SAT inspections

Maintain accurate documentation and update schematics
-
Participate in work rotations both offshore and onshore
Job requirements
Requirements:
-
Valid 8VM1 training (refresher available in May 2025 if expired)
-
Previous SAP/AP authorisation in the wind industry preferred
-
GWO and HUET training (preferred)
-
Fit for offshore work (medical clearance required)

Experience with offshore wind turbines and substations

Proficient in Microsoft Office tools

Must bring personal iPhone (security software installation required)

Willingness to travel offshore regularly and work in challenging environments
Nice to have:
-
Previous experience working under Electrical Safety Rules specific to large developers

Fluency in coordinating with grid operators and commissioning managers
