Service Manager

Atlas Professionals are searching for an experience Service Manager. Our client has a permanent vacancy, the role is based in Newcastle & our client promotes hybrid working. 

Job description

• Overseeing the implementation of renewable service projects, collaborating closely with the project manager to maintain alignment between service and supply contracts, as well as ensuring effective communication with clients or their representatives to ensure projects are delivered cost-effectively and on schedule.
• Assisting project managers with risk assessments, both commercial and contractual, to mitigate financial, contractual, and technical risks throughout the project’s lifecycle.
• Managing operational deliverables to meet customer expectations while also supporting the company’s financial goals, including revenue and cash flow targets.
• Coordinating with the Finance team and project managers to ensure accurate structuring of project scopes in the ERP system, and ensuring that project costs are appropriately recorded.
• Monitoring and communicating any client-driven changes or additions to the project, ensuring these adjustments are documented in the Variation Order (VOR) system, and that the project remains on track.
• Contributing to the development and execution of the service team’s strategic plan, focusing on revenue growth, identifying new business opportunities, and applying lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.
• Leading the renewable services team, ensuring effective planning, coordination, and execution of project tasks to meet customer requirements efficiently and effectively.
• Identifying opportunities to streamline processes through automation and standardization, supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the service team.

Job requirements

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have experience within the Renewable/Oil & Gas industries within the Operations function holding experience of working in an offshore environment.

It is vital that the post holder is highly organised, with the ability to prioritise multiple high-level tasks to ensure that all project deliverables are met on time. The role will involve managing multiple projects. The candidate will be both commercially and delivery focussed with a drive for achievement.
