Our Boston office specializes in offshore wind. Currently we have an opening for an onshore Electrical Fabrication Supervisor. This contract is set to last through February 2026, with a possible 6-month extension. This is a Monday - Friday position, 40 hours per week, with up to 4 travel days expected per month. Applicants must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.

Job description

  • Represent company during fabrication of the electrical systems on the Turbine Foundations, including but not limited to LV systems, Earthing system, Array Cables Support, Measurements and SCADA/Radio systems.
  • Supervise contractor to ensure successful fabrication and assembly of the Turbine Foundations on time and within the required Quality standards and HSE regulations.
  • Ensures that free-issued equipment and components are installed, handled, and maintained in accordance with the project and vendor requirements.
  • Supervise commissioning/testing of electrical systems.
  • Advise and support the Foundation Fabrication Manager.
  • Ensure that contractors are in line with agreed design and to required spec/quality. 
  • Keep and maintain a safe work environment within the team and the contractors/sub-contractors on site according to HSE guidelines and local procedures.
  • Support of all relevant interfaces between Contractors, Sub-Contractors, Contractors QA/QC Representatives.

Job requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering 
  • Site experience on fabrication yards, pre-assembly, or construction sites
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Experience with wind turbines is preferred but not required
