Our Atlas Professionals crew will often transit through small towns when mobilising to offshore facilities without having much time to explore local communities in which they travel through.
This particular rig off Exmouth is clearly visible from the shore and the team on board wanted to have the opportunity to give back and arranged a Christmas Raffle to raise money for the local community of Exmouth.
All the companies on board got together and donated some fantastic prizes to be won, with Atlas Professionals offering a voucher for 10 V8 hot laps (supercar drive).
Our Chief Steward, Shane Evans, sold no less than 233 raffle tickets at $50 each.
Three local not-for-profit organisations were presented with their donations personally by the crew. This kind act of charity by the crew on board made the local newspaper.
A huge success that was well received by the crew, the companies involved and the Exmouth community.
