Dutch specialist recruiter Atlas Professionals is celebrating its one year anniversary in Perth, Australia. Over the last year, Atlas has been able to achieve its goal of strengthening its presence in Perth. Now, with secure agreements in place, Regional Business Manager Ian Marshall discusses the team’s successes over the past year and his hopes for 2017.
“The past year has been exceptional for strengthening relationships with current clients and introducing our services to new clients,” says Ian. “Our biggest success has been expanding brand awareness and showing our capabilities, not only in the APAC, but worldwide.”
The History of oil & gas in Australia
Australia has a long history of oil and gas production and the ongoing development of its substantial reserves is strengthening the country’s position as a leading global player in this market sector. With access to world-leading research and development in oil and gas technologies, significant oil and gas reserves this has been a successful venture for Atlas.
Creating more opportunities in the APAC
Over the past year, the team have had some successes in securing agreements with the industry’s leading companies, “extending our partnerships with our current clients has added greater value to our business here in Perth and has created more opportunities for local content. Our team based in Singapore has created a good foundation for us in the APAC. Business Manager Jovita Thomas and her team have played an integral role to the success of our Australia office and I would personally like to thank them for their efforts so far.”
What’s the next goal for Atlas in Australia? “With our agreements in place and strengthened partnerships our goal is to become one of the top three agencies in the APAC region for the energy, marine and oil and gas industries.
