Recently Atlas’ UK Offices underwent a series of interim audits to confirm continuing compliance with the Maritime Labour Convention 2006 (MLC).
Committed to Compliancy
Auditors from the UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency attended Atlas’ offices in Bristol, Banbury, Exeter and Newquay to assess compliance. The MLC 2006 establishes minimum working and living standards for all seafarers working on vessels offshore.
The Newquay, Exeter and Bristol teams were awarded continuation of certification while Atlas’ ROV, Diving and Inspection office in Banbury received MLC attestation for the first time.
Growing from strength to strength
“This is great news for our office,” says Business Manager Claire Freestone. “Since joining Atlas last year I have seen the office grow from strength to strength and this successful audit is just another reason why we are the market leader in ROV recruitment.”
This certification demonstrates that our recruitment and placement practices are fair and compliant with the convention.
