Launching of ‘Isaac Newton’ Vessel

On March 7, Jan De Nul launched the world’s largest multipurpose cable laying vessel, Isaac Newton, at the Uljanik shipyard in Pula, Croatia.

The Isaac Newton will perform different jobs as a trenching and offshore support vessel, as a subsea rock installation vessel and as a cable laying vessel. The vessel is planned to sail out for her maiden voyage in August 2015.
