Atlas present on Recruitment Day of WindEnergy Hamburg

4 September 2014

The offshore wind industry has shown a considerable growth over the years which in turn has resulted in an increase in jobs. The Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) predicts that by 2030 there will be more than 2.6 million people employed directly or indirectly in the wind industry. The wind industry provides more than 761,000 jobs in 2014, compared with 670,000 three years ago (all figures from GWEC). The great interest in skilled workers is taken up by WindEnergy Hamburg at the Recruiting Day on 26 September.

Recruitment Day

The Recruiting Day will give wind industry companies a platform to present themselves to jobseekers of all kinds – experienced wind experts, lateral entrants and young professionals. On 26 September, the dedicated space located between Halls B1 and B2 features companies, agencies such as Atlas Professionals and universities making brief presentations and providing information at their stands on their current job and training course openings.
