From 9 - 11 April 2019, Atlas Professionals will exhibit at Ocean Business at the National Oceanography Centre in Southampton, UK. The hands-on ocean technology exhibition and training forum. During Ocean Business, Atlas will provide sessions about the Atlas Competence Programme and will inform students about career opportunities in the survey industry.
Competence
Competence Management and Competence Assurance is increasingly important from a safety, commercial and legal point of view. Atlas Professionals has been addressing this issue for several years and we are contributing to improving industry standards and at the same time, meeting increasing requirements concerning the ability to demonstrate the further competence of personnel.
Our Competence & Organisational Development Manager, Dingena Peddie-Theunisse, will explain in sessions during Ocean Business how the Atlas Competence Programme is set up, it’s relation to IMCA and how professionals can join the competence programme.

If you are a student and would like to have advice on career opportunities within the survey industry then we welcome you at Ocean Careers. Atlas will provide an industry presentation to learn more about the employment options available. Next to this, you can meet us at the speedy one-on-one meetings where you can ask questions about working in the industry to one of our colleagues. Both events are free to visit.
