Our client, a giant in the renewables space, is seeking HSE Advisors to join their US team supporting HSE efforts at onshore wind construction sites in North Dakota. Applicants must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship and should ideally be located in North Dakota.
Job description
- Drive and promote a good initiative taking QHSE culture through leading by example, using data, raising awareness, knowledge sharing, and lessons learned (registration and implementation)
- Demonstrate and promote data driven risk management through a proactive reporting culture and high-quality data management.
- Planning, facilitation / participation of Safety meetings, “Toolbox Talks”, “Safety Walks”, hazid/hazop workshops
- Review of documentation/Risk Assessments JHAs, SWI, Lift plans, Incident reports.
- Coordinate and report safety inspections, incident investigations, root cause analyses, and report derived observations, risks, and lessons learnt.
Job requirements
- 3-5 years of HSE experience; onshore wind and/or construction experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Relevant technical or academic background
- Experience dealing with 3rd party contractors
- NEBOSH or similar HSE qualification(s) preferred
