Atlas Professionals is looking for professionals to work as Project Engineer with one of the clients of the office in Stavanger, Norway. It’s a temporary position in Norway. Do you have the necessary experience?

Job description

This position is a key member of the department for Projects, Technical & Late Life, and report to Manager for the department.

The candidate will collaborate with various disciplines to develop and drive projects/activities. There are several projects under development, ranging from topside modifications to subsea and field development projects. Experience in the planning and execution of major projects is essential, including all phases from study to completion.

The position requires the candidate to liaise with technical disciplines to gather and report information, as well as to understand and drive technical development. The role is multidisciplinary, involving the creation of inputs for economic analysis and interaction with corporate functions

The candidate must have a high level of competence in developing technical summary reports, decision support documentation, scopes of work, and presentations. Strong writing skills are crucial, with the ability to produce quality written products. Managing high workload in periods is essential.

Overview of tasks and responsibilities:
The department is potentially looking for several candidates, dependent of the identified candidates. The new positions will work closely with the other project managers in the department to drive the develop of the upcoming projects.

 
  • Subsea projects:
    • Develop a project from visualization to execution and completion
    • SURF/SPS understanding and experience
    • Managing life-time extension process
    • Cross boarder experience NCS/UKCS
    • Support to Decommissioning project
  • Topside projects:
    • Condensate as fuel and compressors re-bundling projects
    • Contract management, engineering and installation follow up
  • Field Development project
    • A field development project is under preparation are in the visualization phase.
    • Ongoing high level technical assessment to build the concept and prepare a work program for the concept phase
 


 

Job requirements

  • 5 years of knowledge in E&P business processes and higher degree from university, min Bachelor degree.
  • Experience from working with both Contractors and Oil & Gas operators
  • Familiar with Office 365 package and other tools supporting new ways of working 
  • Capacity and competence to go in depth of the problems and help progressing the Asset’s issues.
  • The candidate should have a background in Engineering/ Planning and Execution of Projects in the O&G industry, knowledge of operational processes, project phases, relevant documentation, drawings, and tools. The candidate should also have good written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to collaborate seamlessly with other teams.
