The position requires the candidate to liaise with involved stakeholders from each discipline to gather and report information, status, and progress on the defined activities. The position will be multidisciplinary in principle, but with a key focus on structural, marine, and SURF (Subsea Umbilicals, Risers, and Flowlines) activities.
Experience in the planning and execution of major marine operations and SURF is required, along with in-depth knowledge of all phases of decommissioning projects.
The candidate will work closely with the decommissioning and life-time extension project management with a special focus on the following:
Decommissioning:
• Planning and execution of decommissioning projects in all phases from visualization through execution, with particular challenges related to the release, ascent, and transport to shore of a subsea storage tank
• Decommissioning planning, including impact assessment and cessation planning
• Cross-border experience NCS/UKCS
Lifetime Extension Projects:
• Technical assessment and planning of concepts and alternatives
