Atlas Professionals are recruiting for a Marine Personnel Lead based in Aberdeen. This will be a permanent, full time role, working Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm. There will be the option for some hybrid working also.

Job description
- Manage the crewing function, ensuring vessels are adequately manned with qualified seafarers and in compliance with the Company's safety management system.
- Supervise and allocate resources to the appointed team, overseeing administration and tracking of annual leave and absence records.
- Collaborate with the Line Manager to develop and implement a manpower strategy, aligning with Company Key Performance Indicators.
- Ensure compliance with the latest requirements of the Maritime Labour Convention (MLC) for the fleet.
- Liaise directly with clients, operations, and technical departments, as well as external client representatives, on all manning issues.
- Ensure compliance with charterers' crewing matrices and relevant procedures.
- Lead and manage the development of team members, tracking their growth and ensuring continuous development within the team.
- Contribute to the preparation of crewing budgets and ensure accurate reporting.
- Prepare and monitor monthly and quarterly Marine HR KPI reports, including manpower analysis and projections.
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of the annual manning and crew travel budget in coordination with business control.
Job requirements
• University Degree level of Education, preferably in HR or General Business• Demonstrate experience of managing and leading diverse Crewing Personnel
• Highly Organised.
