Looking for a temporary job as Instrument Engineer in Norway? Atlas Professionals in Stavanger, Norway is always looking for new Drilling & Well Services professionals. At the moment we have a vacancy for the position of Senior Instrument Engineer.
Job description
- Responsible for field instrumentation and field equipment for safety systems
- Technical discipline responsible for barrier functions for instrumented systems
- Operational procedures owner
- Prepare for taking over equipment from project. Secure neccessary tools and frameworks are established for operations phase.
- Secure compliance and continuous improvement of operational procedures.
- Ensure that the established work practices and procedures for offshore work are delivered with the expected quality.
- Contribute to digitalization of operational procedures through the PXO system portal project as required.
- Secure a good cooperation with critical suppliers and contractors.
Job requirements
- Education - Bachelor within relevant discipline. Relevant experience can compensate for education.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience within technical field/discipline
- The successful applicant will be given the necessary training to succeed.
- Fluent abilities in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written
