At the moment we have a vacancy for the temporary position of Subsea Technician. Interested? And do you have the necessary experience?
- To be familiar with pre and post dive checks, on-deck servicing and preventative maintenance;
- To be familiar with the submersible operating procedures;
- To be familiar with the principles of all safety aspects of the submersible and umbilical handling systems;
- To have a knowledge of submersible electrical power and safety precautions;
- To log operational data and be familiar with the format required;
- To follow the procedures for drawing and recording usage of stores;
- To work or assist in areas other than own department as and when required;
- To study and become competent in the main duties of a Submersible Engineer;
- To be familiar with his duties in an emergency situation and must be aware of, and abide by Company procedures, policies, work permits and instructions, particularly in respect of the Code of Safe Working Practices, Company safety policy and environmental policy;
- To be familiar with all portable/lifting/testing equipment and C.O.S.H.H. procedure;
- To have a knowledge of hydraulic system;
- Assistance for all subsea maintenance work;
- Familiar with subsea depot management system;
- To assist with the designated research and development works in R&D department as required.
- Hold qualification certificates as required by STCW 78/95;
- At least 100 days offshore experience and 12months in the industry;
- Completed subsea competence 1-10;
- Hold Subserv PTⅠand PTⅡ certificate;
- CBSP;
- THUET Opito;
- Advanced English.
