Atlas Professionals is looking for qualified and competent HSE Engineer for its Oil & Gas, offshore and EPC clients in UAE/ KSA/ Qatar/ Oman/ Kuwait.
Job description
- Review and approve engineering/design to ensure compliance with contract obligations.
- Ensure engineering works are performed according to project schedules, with a focus on safety and timely delivery.
- Coordinate communications and meetings regarding engineering/design requirements as needed.
- Actively manage hazard identification processes, including risk analysis and mitigation.
- Participate in various safety and technical reviews such as P&ID, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, safety reviews, constructability reviews, safety audits, QRA workshops, etc.
- Attend internal progress and engineering meetings as required.
- Ensure uniformity and standardization of design and engineering in all project phases.
- Manage and audit the work of contractors, ensuring quality standards are met and cost-effective solutions are implemented.
- Ensure that contractor’s design work aligns with project scope and technical specifications.
- Review Action Tracking Registers and ensure the closure of all process safety actions from key reviews, workshops, safety studies, etc.
- Review emergency response procedures and plans, ensuring alignment with specifications and standards.
- Experience of 3 to 5 years in projects related to the Oil & Gas, Offshore, or similar industries.
