Tell us about your job at Atlas Professionals?

I work in the HSEQ team which involves all aspects of health and safety, but also things such as internal and external audits, compliance, workers compensation and carbon neutral requirements. If reading that doesn’t put you to sleep, you’re doing well.

What's the best thing about your job?

Helping people recover from injuries or illness which enables them to return to work as soon as possible. Its also great to work in an office where there’s so many West Coast Eagles supporters who need lots of help with basic tasks, like breathing and tying their shoelaces. I suppose I just like to help those who need help.

What do you do to relax?

I live on a semi-rural 14-acre property in Baldivis with my wife and 3 kids which keeps me occupied on my time off and weekends, so sending my time outside with an appropriate beverage is always relaxing. I also “mildly” support the Richmond Tigers who have won 13 more premierships than Fremantle, anytime they win another premiership is always relaxing. So, I’m regularly relaxed.

If you could live anywhere in the world for a year, where would it be and why?

Karratha…Such a warm sunny place where none of my in laws live.

The place I’d least like to live is Scotland. I don’t know anyone smart or normal from there.

How long have you worked at Atlas Professionals?

Ten years this December. It’s been a blast.
