Atlas Services Group takes a participation in South West Surveys

Atlas Services Group B.V. completed the acquisition of a 75% interest in South West Surveys (UK) Ltd.

Atlas Services Group (“ASG”) has initiated the acquisition of South West Surveys (“SWS”) to add further scope and options for the combined existing client base and consultants.

Since 1978 SWS has specialized in supplying highly experienced personnel to the offshore energy and telecommunication industries worldwide, primarily as offshore client representatives and marine project managers. SWS have undergone a period of managed growth since 2007 and are now a major supplier of offshore survey and construction expertise.

With an evolving marketplace, both ASG and SWS share the same view, and have chosen a direction that provides a mutually complimentary scope and broadens the long term plans for both companies.  SWS have a proven track record in the offshore construction and cable consultancy industries. Together with our own geophysical & environmental consultancy, we will be well positioned to become the partner of choice for our clients and future clients. At the same time we will be able to offer our consultants opportunities for career development, which has become a recognized issue within the energy consultancy marketplace.

Business will continue as usual as SWS, enhanced by access to ASG resources.
