Atlas Professionals Wins Catering Scope of Work in Timor-Leste

21 March 2019

Atlas Professionals has been awarded the catering manning scope of work for the drilling campaign in Timor-Leste on the Maersk Deliverer. We mobilized the first crew on 15 March in Dili. We will be providing forty two local Timorese caterers for this 70 days project.
Two weeks ago our new team of twenty one Professionals from Dili embarked upon our first project in Timor-Leste under the management of the newly Atlas Professionals registered office.
Planned inductions and training sessions were conducted for the team, to ensure they were job ready for deployment on the Maersk Deliverer. As part of the training required for the team, six candidates were given the opportunity to expand their skill set and attend a bakery course.
Daniel Geldard a long serving Chef and Baker with Atlas Professionals conducted a three day training session, teaching the Timor-Leste team basic skills in bread making, pastry, cake and dessert preparation.
Daniel is certified as a trainer with esteemed International culinary school, William Angliss. The team benefited greatly from his guidance and impressive knowledge base over the course of the three days.
The team have since joined the facility to put into practice their new bakery skills. Daniel shall be joining them on board in the near future, to continue on site training and develop their capabilities.
We look forward to hearing reports of excellent bread and pastries being produced by the team.
