Diversity/Gender Equality-White Ribbon Day

5 November 2018

With Atlas Professionals working in so many diverse countries around the world, diversity and inclusion is an important part of our life. Diversity doesn’t just mean different ethnicities, races and religions, but includes gender, sexuality, age, abilities, perspectives, social and economic backgrounds, life experiences and all other aspects that makes someone unique. Atlas Professionals embraces diversity in all its forms with gender equality a major focus with each of us holding a responsibility to develop a culture where both women and men feel respected, supported and safe to contribute in meaningful ways.
At Atlas Professionals we’re committed to supporting our people, especially when they need it most, which is why we take a stand against domestic violence.
23 November is White Ribbon Day. Show the world where you stand on ending violence against women.
White Ribbon is a part of a global movement aiming to create a society in which all women can live in safety, free from violence and abuse. White Ribbon works through a primary prevention approach understanding that men are central to achieving the social change necessary to prevent men’s violence against women. White Ribbon encourages us to stand up, speak out and act to influence the actions of some men and demand change. White Ribbon is dedicated to ensuring we are active advocates for changing the social norms, attitudes and behaviours that are at the root of men’s abuse of women. Through education, awareness-raising and creative campaigns, preventative programs and partnerships, White Ribbon highlights the positive role men play in preventing men’s violence against women and enabling them to be part of this social change.
Through our support of White Ribbon we hope to highlight the importance of stopping violence against women before it happens.
