Don’t be fooled by Scam e-mails that appear to come from Atlas. From time to time, Atlas is targeted by e-mail scammers. This means that fake e-mails are being sent that look like they come from Atlas employees. Regrettably, recipients are not only Atlas co-workers, but also clients and professionals.

Scammers

Although these e-mails may appear to come from Atlas employees, they are not. They are sent by scammers, who know how to make e-mail messages look like we are the sender. One way or the other, scammers have also been able to find out about relationships between Atlas employees and recipients. This way, they can send e-mails to targets that know the alleged sender, thus increasing the credibility of the scam. As frustrating as this may be, we have no control over these e-mails being sent. We therefore want to be clear about the following:
  1. To date none of our systems have been compromised.
  2. Clients and professionals can be sure that their data is in safe hands with us.
  3. ICT-security is a top priority for us, and we are we are constantly investing in new tools and policies, in order to stay ahead of threats and risks.
  4. We do not ask professionals to pay us money by e-mail.

Let us know

If you yourself receive an e-mail you don’t trust, forward it as an attachment to servicedesk@atlasprofessionals.com (please don’t just use the forward button, as it will not give us enough data to investigate the source). Never click on a link or open a document when in doubt about the authenticity of an e-mail. When you are in doubt about an e-mail from Atlas, check the content by calling us on a telephone number you know (do not use the number in the e-mail!).
