Every day challenges
Crewing manager for the Seafox 1,2,4,5 & 7, Kim Pesch, talks to Atlas about her role in the company and her experience with Atlas. “I am responsible for all the units in Europe and manage all the crew members on board. I take care of their contracts, their administration and I am the first point of contact for the agencies. Every day is a challenge and no single day is the same. The main issue for me is finding personnel at short notice; professionals are gaining new jobs all the time, so it’s quite difficult to find the person with the right spec in a short amount of time.”
Working with Atlas’ Platforms & Jack-Ups team
For the last four years, Kim has been working with Atlas’ Platforms and Jack-Ups team in Hoofddorp. “An agency needs to be available 24/7, be quick at responding to requests and to be honest with their clients. Over the last four years there has definitely been a transparency between myself and Atlas which is also really important for me. Working with the Atlas team, Robin, Iris, Martin and Désirée has been great. They work very well as a team and are able to deal with my request as quickly as possible. I can trust Atlas to send me the right candidate. What I also like about Atlas is that they are able to attend some of our crew changes and answer any questions the crew might have when they come off the unit, it’s good to know that Seafox has that extra support.”
