Atlas Professionals recruitment day sources promising candidates in Lowestoft

Last week, Atlas Professionals organised a recruitment day at the Orbis Energy Centre in Lowestoft to introduce local personnel to Atlas’ offshore wind projects worldwide. The day was a great success and gave local industry workers the opportunity to sign up to the latest projects in Renewable Energy and learn more about the company.

Sourcing opportunities

Atlas representatives from the Offshore Wind and Offshore Management & QC teams attended the day to discuss a variety of positions in offshore wind and offshore consultancy.

The day was beneficial for both the company and its visitors,” says Account Manager Ruth Coiley. “The whole day was aimed at highlighting the talents and skills of local people. We met workers across multiple industries including the Offshore Wind, Geotechnical, and oil & gas sectors, all who had lots of experience and a lot to offer. Now, we will start processing all of the CVs that were collected on the day and begin sourcing new opportunities to the people of Lowestoft.”

Local MP Peter Aldous also visited the recruitment day to discuss the prospects of renewable energy projects in the Waveney region, and the influx of workers who have the ambition to transfer into the offshore wind sector.

Overall the day was the next best step for personnel in the region to become a part of one of the world’s fastest growing industries.
