In Augustus 2012, Atlas acquires the business and assets of “Main Source Offshore People” (MSOP), the personnel department of Offshore Marine Management (OMM). On Thursday 15 November 2012, the new office of Atlas in Bristol has officially been opened.
Opening
The Managing Directors of Atlas Services Group, René Neelissen and Marcel Burghouwt, joined the Bristol team to celebrate the official opening. Marcel Burghouwt: “We are happy to be here and to have Atlas Services Group’s eighteenth office officially opened. The activities of this office, which are focused mainly in the subsea cable industry, are a valuable addition to our current activities in the energy and marine industry.”
Opportunities to growth
Martine Rondeel, Manager of Bristol office: “It has been a very busy period during the acquisition from MSOP to Atlas Services Group, and we are very pleased that this period is finally complete with the relocation to our new fully refurbished office in Bristol. We are now looking forward to focusing on our personnel supply services in the cable lay industry and further opportunities for growth. “Being part of Atlas Services Group allows us to increase our international network in order to attract new clients and contractors in the offshore renewable, subsea cable and telecoms industry”, tells Martine.

We will continue to focus on the quality and efficiency of our services to our clients and contractors and we have already made some key new additions to our existing team since moving to the new office in November, We look forward to welcoming our contractors and clients to our new office over the coming months.”
