Atlas Professionals secures a frame agreement with one of its clients, oil exploration and development company Det norske oljeselskap ASA (DETNOR). The agreement will commence from 1st June 2016 and will last four years with the possibility to extend the contract twice over a further two years.
Working in Norway’s Petroleum Economy
Det norske is an independent exploration & production company that works on the Norwegian continental shelf. The company is also the main operator for two major oil fields, Alvheim and Ivar Aasen.
Atlas Professionals and Det norske have been working together since 2013. This new agreement will allow Atlas to supply fully competent personnel such as Subsurface Specialists, Wellsite and Operations Geologists to Det norske’s operations at the heart of Norway’s petroleum economy.
Collaboration in a Challenging Arena
Atlas’ Discipline Engineering & Project Controls and Drilling & Well Services teams in Stavanger (Norway) and Hoofddorp (Netherlands) will be collaborating on this frame agreement.
“Atlas is excited that we have been given the opportunity to further extend our relationship with Det norske oljeselskap ASA, especially in these challenging times. We have had the pleasure of working with Det norske for a number of years by supplying Engineers and Supervisors to their Drilling department.
We look forward to reinforcing our partnership with Det norske in supplying experienced and qualified onshore and offshore personnel for their exploration, development and production activities on the Norwegian Continental Shelf,” says Renske Barentsz, Business Manager in Norway.
