Holland Hub is a digital platform where Dutch trade, economic power and companies with a Dutch affinity can display their services and improve upon their global trade relations in Australia. The initiative was setup by the Consulate-General of the Netherlands, Mr Willem Cosijn.
Driving Business Forward
On 12 April 2016, the platform was rolled out in Perth to offshore industry leaders from both Australia and the Netherlands. Atlas’ Regional Manager in Perth, Ian Marshall, also attended the launch.
“The launch of this hub will give Atlas and offshore leaders more tendering opportunities across all sectors of the industry. With this new platform in place we can strategically partner with other Dutch companies and be in the driving seat for future work here in Australia.”
Establishing Networks in Australia
Holland Hub’s services include, providing advice on establishing a local entity, analysing key sectors in the Netherlands and finding new business contacts through a business partner scan.
The launch of the platform also coincided with the 400th anniversary of Dutch seaman Dirk Hartog’s arrival in Western Australia.
“This was a great event with great people,” says Ian. “This is a stage into the political world here in Australia and working with other Dutch companies like Boskalis and Smit Lamnalco gives us a new platform in making strong connections and working together to form strong alliances in the industry.”
