11 April 2016
On 25th April, Atlas Professionals’ Offshore Wind team will be hosting a recruitment day at the Grimsby Institute of Further & Higher Education. Since 2014, Atlas Professionals have been supporting DONG Energy for the provision of temporary staff for all UK and German offshore wind farms.
As a result of the recent announcement from DONG Energy on the preparations for the Hornsea Project, Atlas has begun its search for local temporary staff to join the Hornsea Project One.
The Hornsea Project
Last year, DONG Energy acquired full ownership of Hornsea Project One; the 1.2 gigawatt windfarm has now moved into its construction phase. With 174 wind turbines, the Hornsea Project One wind farm will be capable of supplying electricity to more than one million UK homes by 2020. On completion, it will also become the world’s first gigawatt scale wind farm. Located 190km off the Yorkshire coast, the Hornsea Project One will officially become the world’s largest offshore wind farm.
Looking for Local Content
Atlas are currently looking for professionals in the local area of Grimsby who are interested in working on the entire life cycle of the wind farm from the planning stage through to the O&M phase.
We have a wide variety of positions available for this project ranging from Site Technicians to Geophysical Engineers. For more information on the current vacancies for the project please go to our DONG Energy website page: www.atlasprofessionals.com/dong.
