Sunday 29th April saw Atlas' Survey Party Chief Gordon Foot on MV Seven Sisters being presented with ‘Safety Awards’ from BP Angola Ltd, along with Subsea 7 colleagues from ROV and Riggers departments.
Safety involvement
This was in recognition for ‘safety involvement’ with the new Subsea 7 HSEQ Observation and Intervention ‘behavioural safety assessment tools’. Gordon Foot was also awarded ‘Safety Champion’ of the month of April 2012 as part of the CSB (Critical Safety Behaviour) steering group initiatives for the amount and quality of safety ‘interventions’. These awards were presented as part of the BP HSE initiatives whilst on Block 31 PSVM project Angola.
