With our global network of professionals contributing to projects around the world and our dedicated team of staff working around the clock, 2015 looks set to be another successful year for Atlas.
This year we look forward to introducing new schemes for our professionals. Firstly, the Atlas Competency Scheme has been set up to help Survey professionals gain the qualifications they need to progress in their careers. So far, Atlas and its training partner EIVA have created new days and training courses that will be running throughout 2015.
The Atlas umbrella has also stretched across the pond to South America in Rio de Janeiro. The development of this additional office in Brazil will allow more opportunities for professionals and clients that are located in these areas.
Also we will be expanding our new business line Technical Inspection Services (TIS).The TIS team that are based in the Capelle aan den IJssel office in the Netherlands will provide professionals that specialise in product inspection, monitoring workmanship and testing in the energy and marine industries.
2015 also plays host to a number of offshore industry events where Atlas will be exhibiting. The first event EWEA offshore will be held on the 10th-12th March in Copenhagen. As the world’s biggest offshore wind energy exhibition, over fifty countries and 300 companies will be taking part in the event, including Atlas Professionals. In the UK, Ocean Business is an un-missable event for ocean technology that will be taking place in April in Southampton.
Speaking of un-missable events, Atlas is proud to announce that we are supporting Ocean Valour - a charity event set for May 2015. Offshore professionals Tom Rainey and Sam Coombs will be rowing across the North Atlantic Ocean in aid of raising £250,000 for The Brain Tumour Charity. Atlas will be supporting and keeping track of the men over their three month journey.
With Atlas’ schedule packed for the New Year we keep our mission in mind, to exceed the expectations of our professionals and our clients and to go the extra mile to invest in people.
