DONG Energy Power (UK) Ltd and Atlas Professionals have today signed a framework agreement for the provision of temporary offshore wind specialists for DONG Energy’s UK offshore wind farms. The primary purpose of the Framework Consultancy Agreement is to meet the demands for temporary staff for DONG Energy’s offshore wind farm projects located mainly in the United Kingdom, and partly in Denmark. Four UK based companies have been awarded with the framework agreement. Approximately 100 contractors are expected to be hired per year through this Framework. The contract will be effective for sixty months and will include the provision of professionals ranging from Client Representatives, to all sorts of Managers, such as Offshore Installation Managers, Project (Package) Managers, Commissioning Managers and Inter Array and Export Cable Managers. Atlas Professionals will be working closely with its subsidiary South West Surveys to deliver competent personnel for all stages of an offshore wind farm.
