Due to entertaining conversations and other amusing events at the stand, Atlas experienced another unforgettable Maritime and Offshore Career Event at the Beurs-WTC in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
From student to Prime Minister
Next to 131 leading companies, a record number of 4,400 visitors decided to attend the eighth edition of the Dutch event. The Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte was there during the event’s opening. The large number of students and professionals reflected today’s popularity of working in the Maritime and Offshore industry.
Professional atmosphere
Many of Atlas’ recruiters and account managers had the opportunity to strengthen relationships with current and potential professionals and companies. Coraline Mulder, Atlas Marketing & Events Coordinator: “These events are usually successful, nevertheless I’m always curious about how things will go. However, we’ve seen that the people who came to visit us had an excellent time and got what they came for – and that’s what it’s all about.”
A special thank you
It were the professionals who made MOCE a success. Atlas professional Randolph van Bergen (DPO / 1st Mate) was present the entire day to speak to other professionals on the Atlas stand, and to share his offshore experiences with newcomers. “I very much enjoy discussing the developments within the industry with diverse professionals. However, it’s also quite interesting to hear the opinion of students who have a fresh look on things. I think Atlas lend an ear to both established and new professionals and know how to give very efficient career advice to all professionals with ambition”, says Randolph van Bergen.
