Atlas Ship Delivery executes successful sea trails of the new vessel 'Caballo Siete Leguas'. Captain Jan van Driel of Atlas Ship Delivery was invited by the Dutch shipyard DeHoop Foxhol to test all systems. The Caballo Siete Leguas is the last of three new Diving Support Vessels ordered by the Mexican shipowner Oceanografia and build by shipyard DeHoop.
The vessel is equipped with diesel / electrical driven Azimuth propellers. Under the supervision of the classification agency, al systems are tested during the three day program. All possible emergency situations were simulated demanding close corporation between staff and technical crew. The results of the sea trails were classified 'excellent' and the Caballo Siete Lebuas will soon be delivered to the owners who will operate the vessel in the Gulf of Mexico.
