OTHER ROLE RELATED INFORMATION:
- Rotation: 14 days on/off rotation once construction starts.
- To start ASAP. Since the 8 Client Reps will fall into a 14 days on/off rotation
- Accommodation offshore provided by Client
- 1 set of trousers and jacket will be purchased. Bring own safety shoes. Climbing, safety equipment will be on loan from the project.
Onshore work: Only planned for initial training period. If onshore work during an active construction project is required, and offshore accommodation was the plan, then these costs will be reimbursed.
Offshore work: Consultant will be accommodated offshore. Client pays for a hotel nearby the location of departure the day before, if travel to site on same date is not possible.
Client Representative for Foundations Installation
Scope: Foundation Installation
Responsibilities:
· Maintain an accurate record of all installation activities on a daily basis throughout the execution phase.
· Ensure that all relevant approved procedures and risk assessments are followed by the contractor.
· Ensure the Contractor proactively manages safety and quality.
· Act, behave and lead by example according to clients values.
Tasks:
- Work independently as clients "eyes and ears" on the project.
- Ensure sub-contractors are adhering to the set safety regulations.
- Prepare and distribute Daily Progress Reports (DPR) as required
- Ensure the DPRs are signed by all required parties
- Review and understand RA/MS and QHSE documents as required before execution phase commences and keep updated on changes in the documents
- Attend daily meetings, toolbox talks and any other discussions to ensure that the works are being carried out in a safe manner to the required quality
- During all defined key activities and otherwise as often as practicable be present as a witness during installation. Access all work areas provided it is safe to do so
- Participate in safety walks with HSE representatives from client and Contractor organisations
Deliverables:
- Daily recording of activities relating to load-out, transit, positioning and installation
- DPR
Job requirements
Mandatory Requirements:
- GWO courses: Sea Survival, Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling
- BOSIET/HUET incl. CA-EBS
- OGUK Medical certificate including Chester step
- IOSH Managing Safely or similar HSE training
- IT proficient (Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet)
- Can do attitude and strong communication skills.
- Speaks, reads and writes English fluently.
- Must have maritime or offshore background.
Previous experience: Must have maritime background as e.g. either lifting experience, navigation and/or maritime engineering.
