Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct geophysical surveys and investigations to study the subsurface of the earth.
- Use a variety of scientific and mathematical techniques to analyze geophysical data.
- Develop models and create visual representations of the subsurface, using software and other analytical tools.
- Interpret geophysical data to locate natural resources, evaluate environmental risks, or aid in the development of construction projects.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as geologists, engineers, and environmental scientists, to ensure that geophysical data is used effectively in project planning and execution.
- Develop and maintain geophysical databases and records for future reference and analysis.
- Stay current with the latest developments in geophysical technology and techniques.
- Write technical reports, prepare presentations, and present findings to stakeholders and clients.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
