Are you an experienced excavator operator with a passion for heavy machinery and the maritime world? We are currently looking for a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team on board a Multi-Purpose Vessel deployed for rock installation operations at sea as part of an offshore project.
Job description
As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating an excavator mounted on board a specially equipped multi-purpose vessel. The vessel will be used to install rocks on the seabed for the protection or stabilization of offshore structures such as cables and pipelines.
Job requirements
Proven experience as an excavator operator, preferably in offshore or maritime environments.
Experience in rock installation or similar offshore construction projects is a strong plus.
Valid certificates:
- Seafarer Medical certificate
- Basic Safety,
- GWO WAH,
- Seaman’s Book.
Good command of the English language (spoken and written).
Willingness to work in rotation schedules (e.g., 6 weeks on / 6 weeks off).
Team player with strong safety awareness and sense of responsibility.
