• Seafarer’s Identification Record Book (CIR)
• CBSP Certificate;
• Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (T-HUET) certified by OPITO;
• Survival Craft and Rescue Boats Course (CESS)
• Fast Rescue Boat Course (CERR)
• Intermediate Training for Lifeboat Operators (TICB);
• Proficiency in Portuguese;
• AFF (Advanced Firefighting) or CACI (Advanced Fire Fighting Course);
• HLO or EMCIA

Head of the engine department. Ensures operation, maintenance, and repair of all propulsion and auxiliary machinery.Job requirements
• STCW Certificate III/2 or CIR (Seafarer’s Registration and Record Book) in the Chief Engineer/Chefe de Maquinas category;• Seafarer’s Identification Record Book (CIR)
• CBSP Certificate;
• Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (T-HUET) certified by OPITO;
• Survival Craft and Rescue Boats Course (CESS)
• Fast Rescue Boat Course (CERR)
• Intermediate Training for Lifeboat Operators (TICB);
