We are looking for a 1st Engineer to join an upcoming international project.
Job description
- Our client is looking to add an experienced 1st Engineer to join a DP2 anchor handling vessel for at least two rotations, which will be 6 weeks on / 6 weeks off.
The successful candidate will assist in maintaining the vessel's engineering systems, particularly those that support the Dynamic Positioning (DP) system. They will also be involved with the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of all engineering equipment, including propulsion systems, power generation, and DP related machinery.
Applicants are advised that our client would prefer someone with past experience onboard DP anchor handling vessels as well as participating in training and sea trials.
Job requirements
- - OPITO approved BOSIET / FOET
- OGUK & Seafarers Medical
- Valid STCW certificates
- DP certificate
- GMDSS (Global Maritime Distress and Safety System)
