About the Project

Be part of one of Europe's largest infrastructure projects! The Port of Valencia is developing a new container terminal with a €1.564 billion investment, designed to increase efficiency and sustainability. To support this large-scale construction, we are looking for experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanics to maintain and repair the machinery essential to this project.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

🔹 Maintenance & Repairs: Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy construction equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, wheel loaders, and cranes.
🔹 Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to ensure equipment runs efficiently.
🔹 Preventive Maintenance: Implement scheduled servicing and part replacements to minimize downtime.
🔹 Safety Compliance: Ensure all repairs meet safety and environmental standards.
🔹 Collaboration: Work closely with operators and site managers to maintain optimal machinery performance.

Job requirements

Requirements

✅ Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic in large construction projects.
✅ Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and welding repairs.
✅ Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
✅ Strong understanding of safety regulations in construction environments.
✅ Valid certifications/licenses for heavy machinery maintenance.
✅ Spanish and/or English proficiency is a plus.
