About the Position

We are looking for an experienced Master to take command of a tugboat for a prestigious maritime project in Valencia, Spain. The Master will be responsible for the safe and efficient maneuvering of the vessel and ensuring smooth operations in port and offshore environments. Additionally, the Master will oversee the crew, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely maneuver and operate the tugboat during port and offshore operations.
• Lead and manage the crew, ensuring a professional and safe working environment.
• Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations, company policies, and project-specific requirements.
• Oversee navigational and operational procedures, maintaining high safety and efficiency standards.
• Communicate effectively with port authorities, project teams, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks and ensure the vessel is in optimal condition.

Job requirements

Requirements:

• Valid STCW Master Certificate.
• Proven experience as a Master on tugboats.
• Strong knowledge of harbor towage and offshore support operations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of English (Spanish is an advantage).
• EU citizenship or valid work permit for Spain.

Project Details

This position is part of the new container quay construction project at the Port of Valencia.
