We are looking for an experienced Excavator Operator to operate a HITACHI ZX870 elevated excavator for a cable pull-in project on the beach in Denmark. The role requires precision, experience with elevated excavators, and the ability to work in coastal environments.
Job description
Key Responsibilities:- Operate the HITACHI ZX870 elevated excavator safely and efficiently.
- Execute cable pull-ins in coordination with the project team.
- Conduct digging, trenching, and backfilling tasks as per project requirements.
- Maintain stability and control of the excavator in sandy and wet conditions.
- Perform daily checks and basic maintenance of the excavator.
- Follow strict safety and environmental protocols.
- Work closely with site supervisors and engineers.
Job requirements
Requirements:- Proven experience as an excavator operator, preferably on elevated excavators.
- Experience with HITACHI ZX870 or similar heavy machinery.
- Previous work in coastal or beach construction projects is an advantage.
- Valid excavator operator license/certification (Denmark or EU equivalent).
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to excavation work.
- Ability to work in challenging beach terrain and varying weather conditions.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- EU work permit
- Certificates required: HUET and GWO WAH
